Solar nations are nations claiming particular identity in the systems of the star Sol as their homelands or important territories. While the Solar System has long been the most populous and open of regions, conflicts with Zlost, the UNT War and more recently tensions with some nations from the Small Magallenic Cloud have led Solar nations or groups of nations or Powers to seek to enforce bans or certain security restrictions on nations or groups percieved as threats to the system as a whole. Other recent developments have included the Sol System Integrity Treaty in attempts to create some common law governing massive changes to the region. Where this rising sense of common Solar interests will lead remains to be seen.
