The Peace-class Star Destroyer, often referred to as the Peace Star Destroyer, was a star destroyer class that served the Stonewall Federation in addition to the Federation-class after the Second Confederate War. The Peace-class included elements from the Federation-class and the Venator II-class Star Destroyer.
Characteristics[]
Combing elements from both the Federation-class and the Venator II-class, the result was the Peace-class. The Peace-class was similar to the Federation in that it had a curving hull that had no sharp angles. Lighter and faster than the Federation-class, it was able to be a frontier protector against pirates and used in missions as diplomatic and escort missions. With lighter armanent, the Peace-class was able to jump into a fight and jump out.
The hull itself was a dark gray and was able to withstand the same amount of firepower a Venator II would be able to withstand. The hull was a standard SDC design.
The shields of this model were newly designed, the SDC PSD-10 generator powered the shields across the ship. There was only one generator.
History[]
After the creation of the Federation-class, the Peace-class was designed shortly after the commissioning of the Federation. The Peace-class was designed under the Military Revitalization Act of 12 NE, therefore making it apart of the Revitalization Line.
